Job summary

Peak Living in Lansing, MI seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to keep communities in top condition, supervise move-in prep, and manage budgets. Lead maintenance staff, coordinate schedules, ensure safety, and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

You will oversee preventive maintenance on pools and exteriors, drive capital improvements, and ensure timely service responses while maintaining high resident satisfaction and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance knowledge for apartment communities.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to manage staff and interact with residents.
• Basic HVAC knowledge and requirement to obtain CFC certification within 90 days.
• Experience as Maintenance Supervisor or as an assistant with Peak Living is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager in staffing decisions and personnel processes.
• Teach skills to staff and schedule work orders.
• Maintain a safe working environment and supervise common areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pools, parking lots, building exteriors, etc.
• Recommend capital improvements as needed and respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and Peak Living safety policies.
