Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for The Danforth in Seattle, WA. You will lead a maintenance team, oversee make-ready tasks, and manage vendor relationships to uphold Greystar’s standards of cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction.

You’ll supervise up to five staff, participate in budgeting for repairs, and ensure repairs are completed efficiently while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools and be skilled in safe use of hand tools, power tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to interact with residents and colleagues.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and property management software (Yardi/One Site) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and complete maintenance to meet company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety and functionality.
• Manage outside vendors and warranties via email and phone.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of the property.
• Supervise up to 5 employees and assist with budget for repairs and capital projects.
• Complete resident work orders promptly and inspect completed work for quality.
• Lead safety meetings, ensure OSHA compliance, and maintain MSDS sheets.
