Job summary

RISE Bartram Park is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team and manage day-to-day upkeep of a Jacksonville community. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems, with a focus on preventive maintenance, budgeting, and vendor coordination.

The ideal candidate has MF property management experience, EPA and CPO certifications, and strong leadership and communication skills to ensure timely, high-quality service for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in multifamily property management.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building maintenance.
• EPA Certification required.
• CPO Certification required.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel, assigning work, and managing daily operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
• Experience managing preventative maintenance programs, apartment turns, and maintenance inventory.
• Familiarity with property management software and electronic work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across the community.
• Lead, train, and support the maintenance team with clear expectations and accountability.
• Prioritize and complete service requests efficiently and accurately.
• Perform and supervise HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general system tasks.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules to minimize unexpected repairs.
• Coordinate apartment turns and ensure readiness for new residents.
• Conduct regular property inspections for safety and improvement opportunities.
• Manage maintenance inventory, supplies, and expenses within budget.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to meet RISE standards.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
