Job summary

RISE Bartram Park is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team and manage day-to-day upkeep of a Jacksonville community. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems, with a focus on preventive maintenance, budgeting, and vendor coordination.

The ideal candidate has MF property management experience, EPA and CPO certifications, and strong leadership and communication skills to ensure timely, high-quality service for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in multifamily property management.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building maintenance.
• EPA Certification required.
• CPO Certification required.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel, assigning work, and managing daily operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
• Experience managing preventative maintenance programs, apartment turns, and maintenance inventory.
• Familiarity with property management software and electronic work order systems.

Maintenance Supervisor - RISE Bartram Park | Jacksonville

Salary: $73,000 - $75,000 annually

What You'll Be Doing

As our Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations at RISE Bartram Park while ensuring our residents receive timely, professional service.

• Lead, train, and support the maintenance team, setting clear expectations and holding everyone accountable for quality work.
• Oversee daily work orders, prioritize service requests, and ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Perform and supervise maintenance involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules to minimize unexpected repairs and extend the life of equipment.
• Coordinate apartment turns, ensuring homes are ready for new residents on schedule.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage maintenance inventory, order supplies, and monitor expenses while staying within budget.
• Work with outside vendors and contractors, ensuring work is completed to RISE standards.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
• Partner with the Property Manager to plan maintenance priorities, manage expenses, and maintain the overall appearance and condition of the community.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines, safety procedures, and applicable building regulations.
