Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical and routine upkeep across the community, addressing resident service requests and ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards.

The role includes making-ready vacant units, inspecting work, coordinating with vendors, and supporting budgetary targets while practicing cost-efficient maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs following safety standards and code requirements.
• Oversee and complete make-ready tasks for vacant homes and move-ins.
• Develop cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors; ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials; assist with budgeting.
