Job summary

Karya Property Management is seeking a Lead Maintenance to join the team at our Dallas property. This is a full-time role overseeing the physical property, maintenance repairs, apartment make-ready, preventative maintenance, and construction/rehabilitation projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating preventive maintenance, scheduling training, inspecting facilities, leading a maintenance team, and assisting with the budget and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or related role.
• HVAC and EPA certified.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
• Must be flexible and dependable.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units.
• Coordinate and schedule safety and skills training for maintenance staff.
• Inspect facilities to identify problems and needed maintenance.
• Oversee maintenance staff, create weekly schedules, and assign tasks.
• Assist in development of the property maintenance budget and ensure compliance at the property.
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment and replenish as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
