Karya Property Management in Dallas is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee the property's physical upkeep and coordinate repairs and improvements. This full-time role involves hands-on maintenance, supervision of staff, and scheduling preventative tasks at our Dallas property.

Compensation will range based on experience. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and reliable operations while coordinating with other teams to meet property goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role.
• HVAC and EPA certifications are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Bilingual ability is a plus but not required.
• Must be flexible, dependable and a team player.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units.
• Coordinate and schedule safety and skills training for maintenance staff.
• Inspect facilities periodically to identify problems and needed maintenance.
• Oversee maintenance staff, create weekly schedules, and assign work.
• Support development of the maintenance budget and ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor inventory of materials and replenish as needed.

Karya Property Management is looking for a Lead Maintenance to join the team at our Dallas property!

This is a full time position and compensation will range based on experience.

The Lead Maintenance role is responsible for overseeing the physical property, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-ready, preventative maintenance, and construction/rehabilitation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units
• Coordinate and schedule appropriate safety and skills training for maintenance employees
• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• Oversee maintenance staff, prepare weekly maintenance schedules, and allocate work to appropriate team members
• Contribute to the development of the overall maintenance budget and ensure compliance at the property
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment and replenish as needed
• Perform other duties assigned

Requirements:

• 1 + years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or related role
• HVAC and EPA certified

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required

• Customer service experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required
• Must be flexible and dependable
• Must be a team player

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

• Prolonged periods sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
• Push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and reach above shoulders
• Must be able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work indoors / outdoors or in extreme weather conditions
• Must be able to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating schedule
