Job summary

Hawthorne Residential Partners seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and ensure all apartments are ready for new residents. You will manage work orders, scheduling, and training while maintaining safety and company standards.

This role also handles budgeting, inventory, vendor management, and preventive maintenance programs, with an on-call rotation and a schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday in Cary, NC.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in apartment maintenance or skilled trade; supervisory/lead experience preferred.
• EPA certification and CPO preferred; valid driver's license required, OSHA safety guidelines followed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and supervise the maintenance team to ensure high performance and accountability.
• Oversee make-ready units, turnkey inspections, and move-ins to Hawthorne quality standards.
• Manage budgets, inventory, vendor partners, and capital improvement projects.
• Implement preventative maintenance plans and ensure all systems operate reliably.
