Airtech is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance on extrusion, conversion and facility equipment in Huntington Beach. You will lead the maintenance team, schedule tasks, and ensure production and quality targets are met.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance, 3+ years in supervisory roles, and a high school diploma or technical certificate.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree or certificate from a technical school or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience of industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as Maintenance supervisor or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Manages maintenance crew schedules, assigns preventative maintenance, special projects and other tasks to maintain all facilities equipment.
• Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action.
• Reviews production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, performs scheduled maintenance.
• Supervises equipment running after repairs, changeovers or extended maintenance when practical until proper production and quality levels are assured.
• Makes preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action.
• Notifies manager of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken, and of quality problems or supplies needed.
• Work with purchasing to ensure inventory of spare parts and tools is kept up to date and stocked.
• Uses full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before start of job.
• Performs repair, rebuilding or overhaul work of manufacturing or service equipment from blueprints, company manufacturing manuals, written or verbal instructions.
• Sets up and tests production equipment under power, testing for mechanical difficulties, tracing to their sources and correcting problems.
• Instructs and directs any maintenance trainees assigned.
• May operate equipment during relief periods.
• Perform administrative functions necessary to the function of the department (i.e. reconciliation of employee timesheets, implementation of departmental policies and directives from management, etc.).
• With management present, conducts probationary reviews of employees.
• Conducts performance reviews of each departmental employee and recommends performance increases, retraining, transfer or termination.
