Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Sedalia, MO plant to coordinate maintenance activities, lead a team of 15 technicians, and uphold SQF and GMP standards to ensure quality and safety.

You will oversee preventative maintenance and quick repairs, diagnose electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues, and foster a safety-first culture while reducing production downtime.

Relocation assistance is available and the role operates on the 1st shift; background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as maintenance lead/supervisor with direct reports
• Associates degree or college program certificate
• Experience evaluating/training maintenance technicians
• Knowledge of SQF policies and GMP practices
• Ability to train and develop staff

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a staff of maintenance technicians.
• Minimize downtime by diagnosing problems and coordinating repairs.
• Oversee preventative maintenance program for plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with SQF and GMP policies.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment.
