Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience to perform essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Engineering Managers in scheduling preventive maintenance, weekend work, vacations, and days worked by Engineers.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Engineering Training Programs.
• Provide leadership when the Engineering Managers are absent.
• Continue Engineer’s duties on an as needed basis.
• Maintain a high level of urgency in responding to all trouble calls.
• Ensure repairs and projects are completed through documented work orders and clear communication with Production and Engineering teams.
• Ensure startup and shutdown procedures are completed in a timely manner.
• Communicate with various managers and engineers during travel paths.
• Coordinate with the Engineering Parts Coordinator to ensure adequate parts inventory.
• Promote a safe and clean working environment following 5S and safety procedures.
• Attend meetings pertaining to department goals, safety, staff, and scheduling.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and food safety guidelines.
