Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic instruments.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret drawings, OEM instructions and specifications.
• Read schematics and wiring diagrams, electrical code, and safety regs.
• Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools.
• Prioritize service calls to minimize downtime.
• Communicate effectively with operations and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Properly maintain the facility electrical systems to meet production demands.
• Plan, layout, install and repair complex electrical equipment and control panels.
• Maintain urgency when assisting with trouble calls.
• Complete installations and PMs; document work orders and downtime logs.
• Coordinate trouble response with engineers and production schedule.
• Communicate with team leaders and engineers during work in production areas.
• Provide part descriptions, numbers, quantities, and timelines with parts coordinator.
• Attend safety meetings and promote asset management best practices.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
