Job summary

Dorada Foods - Ponca City is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to write routings and manufacturing instructions, oversee the shop floor, and drive process improvements in the production line.

You will manage the transition of new products into production, design and procure tools, participate in concurrent engineering reviews, and collaborate with vendors and other departments to ensure quality, uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Four to five years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics, and tooling.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to present to groups.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and adapt to change.
• Familiarity with production scheduling and shop operations.

Responsibilities

• Write routings and manufacturing instructions.
• Lead transition of new products into production.
• Prepare quotes and assist with budget planning.
• Participate in concurrent engineering design reviews.
• Evaluate drawings, routings/MIs, specs and other documents.
• Design and procure tools and equipment.
• Support prototyping activities for new product development.
• Oversee shop floor operations and production scheduling.
• Assist in hiring for Engineering Department.
