Job summary

Melaleuca: The Wellness Company in Knoxville, TN seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to lead and sustain all packaging and distribution equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to repairs, and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude with proven experience in a high-paced industrial environment.
Basic electrical skills and safe working around 3 phase voltages up to 480 VAC.
Ability to work under stress and with minimal supervision.
Written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

Lead distribution of Melaleuca products by being an expert in all equipment used to package orders.
Maintains all distribution center equipment by adjusting, lubricating, and making mechanical repairs.
Responds to calls for repairs, performs preventative maintenance, and completes work orders as required.
Performs preventative maintenance tasks on equipment on the line including conveyors, box makers, printers, applicators, and sensors.
Interfaces with computer system to create work orders, issue parts, and complete work.
