Melaleuca: The Wellness Company in Kansas City is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all distribution center equipment, ensuring safe and efficient plant performance.

You will lead a team of maintenance staff and machine operators, coordinate with other departments, develop preventive maintenance procedures, and prioritize work orders to meet production needs while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in a maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of electrical controls and circuits.
• Good computer skills (MS Office).
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and to work at height.
• Demonstrated leadership and project coordination.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical and fabrication practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversees physical operation of maintenance department and machine operators.
• Supports Melaleuca operations with cross-department coordination.
• Develops coordinator staff and implements safety practices.
• Implements preventive maintenance procedures and lockout/tagout.
• Installs and tunes equipment for efficient operation.
• Trains maintenance personnel and prioritizes work orders.
• Monitors and evaluates work quality and production support.
• Assists in development of production lines to improve efficiency.
