Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Maris Grove community in Glen Mills, PA is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair apartment and public areas, train staff on maintenance techniques, and oversee the condition of their assigned neighborhood for a safe, comfortable living environment.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in residential maintenance, HVAC knowledge, and EPA refrigerant certification. Onsite facilities, overtime availability, and employee benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential apartment complexes, construction, or commercial building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of residential building maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Ability to work regular scheduled and on-call overtime as needed.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Location: Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Senior Maintenance Mechanic, where you'll efficiently troubleshoot and repair apartments and public areas. You will train staff on maintenance techniques, oversee the condition of your assigned neighborhood, and serve as a technical resource for the team, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

Compensation: Starts at $29.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

How you will make an impact

• Perform necessary maintenance of HVAC equipment as assigned
• Perform all necessary scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on designated equipment while following manufacturer’s recommendation
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure
• Serve as the lead mechanic in assigned area(s) and will be responsible for the overall condition of the neighborhood(s)

What you will need

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a residential apartment complex, construction, or commercial building maintenance
• Must possess a working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and appliances. Should have a working knowledge of HVAC
• Will be expected to work a reasonable amount of scheduled and “on-call” overtime as necessary
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must possess current EPA certification to handle refrigerants.
