Job summary

Magnolia Foods LLC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician Lead to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations on site. You will lead maintenance activities, provide technical guidance, and support continuous improvement across the facility.

The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of systems, and maintaining records while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. English communication is essential; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in manufacturing or food production environments.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules as needed.
• Experience with industrial refrigeration systems (ammonia, Freon) is a plus.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a hands-on and motivated Maintenance Technician Lead to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations during assigned shifts. This role is responsible for leading maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities during assigned shifts.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to maintenance technicians.
• Perform and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on industrial ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, GMP, SQF, food safety, and company standards.

Previous Maintenance Experience In Manufacturing Or Food Production Required.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Reporting Structure

• Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
• Provides technical leadership and shift coordination for maintenance personnel.
• Works indoors and outdoors in varying temperature conditions.
