Job summary

The Ascent Apartments, operated by Tarantino Properties, Inc., is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance to oversee maintenance operations at our San Antonio, TX community. The ideal candidate will lead a maintenance team, respond to service requests, and ensure timely, quality repairs.

Candidates should have apartment maintenance experience, leadership background, and strong skills in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work; EPA HVAC certification is required.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing and electrical.
• HVAC (EPA) certification required.
• Reliable, organized and solution-oriented.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status through turnover repairs.
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.

The Ascent Apartments is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance to oversee maintenance operations at our apartment community in San Antonio, TX.

The ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, unit turns, and the ability to lead and support a maintenance team.

Essential Functions:

• Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner
• Resolve maintenance issues in the area of A/C, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair
• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service
  

Requirements

• Previous apartment maintenance experience required
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, general electrical.
• HVAC (EPA) Certification required
• Reliable, organized, and solution-oriented
• Must have reliable transportation
