Job summary

Westminster St. Augustine, a Life Care Retirement Community, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the team full-time. You will supervise maintenance staff on projects and assist in day-to-day upkeep of the community and residential units.

The role involves troubleshooting major repairs to A/C, plumbing, and electrical systems, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring safe, reliable operations for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 8 years related experience.
• Skilled in maintenance; licensure in A/C gas 1/2/3 preferred.
• Certification or license in a special skill may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff on specific jobs or projects.
• Responsible for the completion of specific jobs and projects.
• Troubleshoot and perform major repairs to A/C units, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot with contractors or service providers.
• Direct other staff on repairing minor equipment.
