Job summary

Westminster Communities of Bradenton, a Life Plan Community along the Manatee River, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support day-to-day maintenance of the community property and village residencies.

You will supervise maintenance staff, troubleshoot and perform major repairs on A/C, plumbing and electrical systems, and coordinate with contractors. A high school diploma or GED and 8 years related experience are required; A/C licenses preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8 years related experience and/or training.
• A/C licenses/certifications preferred.
• Certification and/or license in special skill.

Responsibilities

• Supervising maintenance staff on specific jobs or projects.
• Ensuring the completion of specific jobs and projects.
• Troubleshooting and performing major repairs to A/C units, plumbing and electrical systems throughout the community and residential units.
• Troubleshooting and identifying equipment or system problems in conjunction with contractors or service providers.
• Troubleshooting and identifying equipment problems and direct other staff on how to repair minor issues with said equipment.
