McCain Foods in Burley, Idaho is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee a 12-hour night shift, ensuring safe maintenance on production lines and equipment. The role includes training team members on blueprints, schematics, and P&ID drawings, and coordinating parts to keep production running efficiently.

The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, welding and fabrication skills, and experience with electrical troubleshooting, with strong computer/CMMS documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Lead, instruct, and assist others in safe maintenance work.
• Perform root cause failure analysis on equipment and system failures >30 minutes downtime.
• Monitor and ensure maintenance documents are correctly entered in CMMS.

About The Role

McCain Foods is accepting applications for a Maintenance Lead, to work a 12‑hour night shift at our Burley, Idaho plant. The role is responsible for the safe execution of maintenance work supporting production lines, performing mechanical duties on industrial equipment, maximizing utilization of resources, training team members on blueprints, schematics, and Piping & Instrumentation Drawings, and communicating maintenance requirements and parts to keep production running efficiently.

Accountabilities

• Prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure safe and timely execution.
• Ensure shift performance and completion of scheduled maintenance on all processing and packaging equipment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in computers, Excel spreadsheets, and e‑mail.
• One year toward an associate degree or equivalent, with at least six years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Mechanical aptitude, welding and fabrication skills, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Compensation Package

Starting at $38.04 hourly + bonus eligibility + shift differential for applicable shifts.
