Job summary

Valsource is seeking a Machinist III to uphold HSEQ processes, interpret complex drawings, and operate turning/milling equipment for critical tasks. The role involves using a 4-Jaw Independent Chuck, band saw, drill press, and precision polishing to meet manufacturer specs.

Fluency with calipers, dial indicators, thread gauges, and advanced measuring tools is required. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years’ industry experience, the ability to read technical drawings, and the capacity to mentor

Qualifications

• HS Education or GED equivalent a plus
• 3+ years industry experience
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings

Responsibilities

• All Additional Job Responsibilities of a Machinist I & II
• Support Machinist I & II employees through mentoring and/or on-the-job training (OJT)
• Perform final quality inspection on all machined components and equipment
• Determine machining requirements for complex projects
• Potentially assume role as Field Supervisor
• Assisting with machine shop consumables inventory
• Fabricate drawings from sample parts
