Job summary

Honeywell in Torrance, CA is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II to optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement, and lead cross-functional initiatives onsite. You will develop NC programs, apply lean methods, and collaborate with engineering to elevate efficiency and quality.

The role reports to the Engineering Director and requires a strong background in NX programming, Vericut, GD&T, and data analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
Proven experience in NC programming, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.
Strong knowledge of NC programming in NX and using Vericut verification software.
Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols.
Experience with data analysis and statistical process control.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proven track record of continuous improvement and project execution.
Familiar with NX or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee advanced machining processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Develop and implement NC programs to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
