Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Production/Machining Leadership experience.
• Experience operating equipment and diagnosing/troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Experience with 5S & Lean practices.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct work of operators operating complex/technical equipment to meet schedule and quality targets.
• Communicate human capital, overtime requirements and production challenges to leadership.
• Maintain production data in the computer system and identify trends for escalation.
• Partner with production planner to determine department workflow and schedule.
• Provide timely feedback on development, performance and conduct.
• Train and coach employees on department work instructions, processes and policies.
• Monitor and approve employee time records in a timely manner.
• Oversee safety and PPE compliance in the work area.
