Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Team Lead- Grind 849 to supervise operators in a precision ceramics manufacturing cell. You will direct workflow, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and coach staff on procedures while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

With four years of leadership and manufacturing experience, you will collaborate with planners to optimize throughput, provide performance feedback, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct operators operating complex or technical equipment to meet quality and schedule targets.
• Communicate workload, overtime needs and production challenges to leadership.
• Maintain production data and identify trends; escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with production planners to optimize workflow and scheduling.
• Provide timely feedback on performance and conduct to staff.
• Train and coach staff on work instructions and policies.
• Approve time records and ensure correct approvals.
• Operate or set up complex manufacturing equipment and inspect parts for defects.
• Gather improvement ideas and support implementation by supervision.
