Job summary

Warren CAT in Oklahoma City is seeking a Supervisor I to supervise and coordinate activities of production and service workers, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role involves directing up to 15 employees, evaluating programs, enforcing policies, and coordinating across departments to meet schedules.

A AA or equivalent, plus technical background and proficiency with CAT DBS, MS Excel, and office software are preferred; travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Technical background in a related field is preferred.
• Must possess hands on knowledge in most areas of responsibility.
• Proficiency with CAT DBS Database software; Internet software; Order processing systems; MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs and evaluates programs and personnel, selecting methods for resolving problems.
• Directs activities of office, sales, service and production workers to optimize equipment and productivity.
• Enforces safety regulations and adjusts work procedures to meet schedules.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems and motivates staff to meet goals.
• Maintains time and production records and coordinates with other supervisors.
• Inspects products to verify conformance and directs machine setup and adjustments.
• Assesses worker hour requirements and recommends improvements to methods and equipment.
• Exhibits professional behavior with internal and external stakeholders.
• Directly supervises up to 15 employees, including interviewing, hiring and training.
