Job summary

Romark Logistics is seeking a production-focused team member for 1st shift in Dallas who will operate and program bagging equipment, perform routine machine inspections, and monitor production metrics.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement, with opportunities for training and advancement. Applicants should be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience operating production or packaging equipment preferred.
• Experience with statistical methods preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (bilingual a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Ability to work in a team environment and motivate others to achieve department goals.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience training or mentoring operators preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 35–75 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine inspections of machinery before and after each shift.
• Set up, operate, and adjust bagging equipment with minimal supervision.
• Run multiple machines while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
• Break down and reassemble equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Program machines and create new programs as needed.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate production and equipment records.
• Perform in-line quality checks and audits to ensure quality standards.
• Follow GMP, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Coordinate line assignments and labor to maintain production flow.
• Provide real-time coaching and support to operators to improve performance.
• Assist with training new employees and ongoing development.
