Job summary

Zebra is seeking a skilled Machine Operator, Lead, to oversee color press operations. You will set up, run, and tear down equipment, mix inks, and perform color matching with limited supervision.

Train new operators, ensure ISO quality standards, and collaborate with supervisors to balance workloads. The role requires strong technical problem solving, leadership in equipment management, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in press operations.
• Experience with color presses and ink mixing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for the assigned work area, training staff and guiding problems.
• Operate and understand full functions of all machines, including ink mixing.
• Perform ISO quality tests on presses and related equipment.
• Train operators on converting operations and advanced press functions.
• Set up machines efficiently and resolve moderately complex issues.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain productivity standards.
