What You’ll Get to Do

The Machine Operator Lead is responsible for leading and training manufacturing personnel in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures. This role supports the department supervisor in the day-to-day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials, and systems) to efficiently, safely, and effectively achieve performance targets, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. The Machine Operator Lead reports to the Production Supervisor.

This role is ideal for someone with attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), a strong work ethic and reliability, and excellent communication skills. As a vital member of the Tempering Department, this position offers an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job Responsibilities Include:

1. Ensure daily completion of Quality/Safety documents and Process Verifications.
2. Complete all production schedules at the end of each shift, meeting company standards.
3. Verify that all personnel wear the correct safety equipment before shift start and maintain safety awareness throughout the shift.
4. Report safety and quality deficiencies to the supervisor.
