Job description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ensuring product safety and quality across all duties listed below:

1. Maintain working knowledge of all blowmolding platforms in the plant.
2. Safely and efficiently operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain processes and production lines.
3. Coordinate with maintenance to repair lines and resolve issues quickly, providing necessary information to supervisors.
4. Manage operator break coverage, ensuring overlap or extended coverage across lines.
5. Report extended machine downtime and productivity issues to supervisors or managers.
6. Assess and coordinate operator training, ensuring proper documentation of progress.
7. Fill in for supervisory roles during absences such as vacations.
8. Maintain a safe work environment, inspecting for unsafe acts or conditions.
9. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
10. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work environment, performing cleaning duties as necessary.
11. Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.

Education:

Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Skills:

Required: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds continuously, involving lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting.

Special Requirements:

Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
