Job summary

Stratasys Ltd. is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to uphold production equipment reliability at our Eden Prairie facility.

You will lead preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to minimize downtime while supporting safety and quality standards. The role requires 1–4 years in a similar setting, hands-on use of tools, knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and familiarity with PLCs.

Qualifications

1–4 years of related maintenance experience.
Proven machine maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Familiarity with PLCs and automation systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and identify root causes.
Perform repairs and replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.
Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
Participate in equipment upgrades and installations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory of spare parts.
Lead training of junior maintenance technicians and share best practices.
