Job summary

Paslin in Kentucky seeks a Machine Build Leader to oversee layout, installation, and modification of automated mechanical systems for our machine tool integration team. This role includes mentoring mechanical builders and coordinating across shifts.

You will manage multiple priorities in a safety-focused environment, travel to USA, Canada, and Mexico during installations, and drive continuous improvement through lean processes and quality control.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Senior Toolmaker or Senior Machine Builder
• 3+ years as a supervisor or team leader is preferred
• Journeyman’s card or Technical Certification preferred
• Background in integration of automated assembly systems with specific knowledge of mechanical and electrical build requirements. Weld systems knowledge is a plus.
• Expertise in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and quality systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the layout, installation, and modification of automated mechanical systems for advanced manufacturing equipment.
• Support the mechanical builders with leadership, training, and daily assignments.
