Job summary

Fluidstack, a leader in data-center infrastructure, seeks an experienced electrical design leader to own LV switchboard and busway development, from concept through UL 891/857 listings. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, drive design decisions, and ensure manufacturability at volume across a growing fleet.

You will coordinate with test labs, define listings and test plans, and work with localization and vendor teams to standardize products for global deployment.

Qualifications

• Designed LV switchboards or busway and achieved UL 891 or UL 857 listing end-to-end.
• Led short-circuit/test campaigns and redesigned components after tests.
• Made contact system and plating decisions for high-cycle busways.
• Designed for high-volume manufacturability on production lines.
• Led a product team through compressed release schedules with strong test evidence.
• Wrote clear ratings documentation and configuration rules for engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the clean-sheet design of LV switchboards and busway platforms.
• Release platforms for production within 12 months and oversee listings.
• Lead a dedicated team of engineers with drafting, compliance, and test staff.
• Drive listing programs end-to-end with test plans and witness testing.
• Coordinate with localization teams on design upgrades and interfaces.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to standardize across fleets.
