Xenia Stays in El Segundo, CA, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day operations for a luxury short-term rental portfolio. You will manage a small team, coordinate owners, guests, vendors, and workflows, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in short-term rentals or hospitality operations, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in short-term rental operations, property management, or luxury hospitality operations.
• Experience leading a team and holding others accountable for results.
• Strong owner, client, guest, and vendor communication skills.
• Confident, outgoing, relationship-focused communication style.
• Proactive problem solver who takes initiative and follows through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency.
• Must be local to the South Bay with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and hold accountable a team of five supporting day-to-day operations.
• Oversee workflows, SOPs, deadlines, maintenance items, and follow-through in Monday.com.
• Build strong relationships with homeowners and serve as a primary ops contact.
• Oversee virtual assistants, quality-check work, and provide direction.
• Handle incoming guest calls and escalations requiring judgment or problem-solving.
• Coordinate maintenance vendors and contractors to ensure timely, quality work.
• Build relationships with local vendors and community partners.
• Identify gaps, improve processes, and keep founders informed while resolving day-to-day issues.
• Maintain top-tier property quality across all homes and guest readiness.
