Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional design experience.
• Professional degree and licensure in a design discipline.
• Active professional membership (AIA/IDS/ASLA or equivalent).
• Proven track record managing creative and financial performance.
• Strong communication across designers, leaders, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic planning for team success.
• Provide technical and creative direction to designers and project managers.
• Assign work across the team, considering schedule and experience.
• Develop corrective action for underperforming projects or staff.
• Support hiring: review resumes and conduct interviews.
• Build and implement training processes for new hires.
