Job summary

HPS Palo Alto, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead high-end residential projects from pre-construction through close-out in the Los Altos area.

You will own scope, budget, schedule, quality, and client experience, while coordinating with superintendents, in-house technicians, subcontractors and design professionals. Responsibilities include CPM scheduling, RFIs, on-site clarification drawings (Bluebeam Revu), and rigorous project documentation.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years related experience and/or training in high-end custom construction project management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a technical school.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• 60+ WPM typing; adaptable to software integration with construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the project’s financial performance, contract, change orders, quality and schedule.
• CPM schedule management and project plan creation and maintenance.
• Generate RFIs to architects, engineers, designers and subcontractors.
• Layout, oversee and audit construction means and methods on-site.
• Maintain organized job files with specs, logs, photos, and drawings.
• Lead meetings and interface with designers, engineers, owners and subcontractors.
