Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent engineering degree
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency troubleshooting analog and digital hardware with bench measurement equipment and data acquisition equipment
• Experience with Linux and other Unix-style operating systems
• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as GitLab, Docker, Jenkins, and Artifactory
• Proficiency with higher‑level programming languages such as Python or C/C++
• Strong software development skills and debugging
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns

Responsibilities

• Design and code automated test equipment software to support verification of avionics requirements (qualification and acceptance testing)
• Participate in requirements, design, and architecture
• Develop software for various prototype objectives
• Integrate software models, sensor drivers, and hardware emulators
• Support integration of flight avionics, operator consoles, and test equipment to verify flight software requirements
• Support problem investigation and resolution
• Establish and follow software development processes to ensure test equipment software is reliable, released and configuration managed
