Blue Origin is seeking an experienced engineer to develop a Hardware in the Loop avionics testbed for a lunar vehicle verification program. Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in requirements, design, architecture, procurement, build, integration, and checkout of the Vehicle Test Bed (VTB).
  • Support integration of flight avionics hardware, ground support equipment, operator consoles and analysis tooling to verify avionics units under test within the VTB.
  • Select and procure electrical equipment to emulate flight hardware.
  • Create harness drawings and lead harness procurement activities.
  • Design rack hardware to support articles under test.
  • Integrate electrical and mechanical hardware with flight and ground software to create a fully functional integrated test bed.
  • Support the design and development of Special Test Equipment (STE) and integrate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to simulate and stimulate Articles Under Test (AUTs) or capture AUT output and interface performance.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware simulation and fault injection solutions with real‑time vehicle simulations.
