Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a dedicated full-time Cook to manage the kitchen in a Santa Rosa long-term care setting. You will prepare meals to serve residents, follow menus and dietary requirements, and uphold strict sanitation standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of cook experience in healthcare. ServSafe certification is required, PCC knowledge preferred, and the position is on-site with a Saturday to Wednesday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Certificate.
• Experience as a cook in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and cooking area in a safe, clean, and sanitary manner.
• Prepare large quantities of meals and follow prepared menus.
• Follow portion control guides and prepare special diets accurately.
• Record food temperatures and ensure food safety standards.
• Assist with serving meals and maintain hygiene of kitchen and serving areas.
