Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.

• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Complete and file admission, transfer, discharge, and charting forms.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain communication with inter-departmental staff and ensure quality care.
• Administer catheterization, tube feedings, wound care, and other procedures as required.
• Monitor staff to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy; report incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
