Job summary

DINWIDDIE HEALTH CARE LLC seeks a licensed practical nurse in Virginia to provide direct primary nursing care and supervise certified nursing assistants. You will coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other staff, document accurately, and participate in rounds as needed.

You will administer medications, monitor residents, perform wound care, and assist with IV therapy as ordered. A valid LPN license in good standing and CPR certification are required; two years of LPN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Two years of LPN experience preferred.
• CPR Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Strong clinical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct primary nursing care to residents.
• Supervises and directs CNAs and other nursing staff.
• Administers and documents medications; follows five rights.
• Performs wound care as ordered and manages IV therapy.
• Monitors residents, reports changes to physician, documents findings.
• Collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, family members.
• Assists in updating the plan of care and participates in rounds.
