Commonwealth Care of Roanoke in Dinwiddie Health & Rehab Center seeks an LPN to provide direct primary nursing care to residents and supervise the care provided by certified nursing assistants. The role requires a current Virginia LPN license, strong clinical and leadership skills, and ability to work with physicians, staff, residents, families, and visitors.

CPR Healthcare Provider certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
• Two years of experience as an LPN, preferred.
• Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct primary nursing care to residents and supervises CNAs.
• Keeps nursing staff informed on resident care and participates in committees.
• Documents medications and follows five rights of medication administration.
• Communicates with physicians, families, and other staff about resident care and changes.
