Job summary

Pikes Peak Post Acute is seeking an experienced LPN/LVN nursing supervisor in Oregon to oversee direct nursing care and supervise CNAs. The role requires ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination with the Medical Director and physicians.

Responsibilities include directing nursing staff, maintaining documentation, participating in quality assurance, and managing resident admissions, discharges, and daily care plans.

Qualifications

  • Must possess nursing degree and active LPN/LVN license.
  • Experience in long-term care or supervision of nursing staff preferred.
  • Knowledge of PCC guidelines and nursing policies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
  • Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures by all nursing personnel.
  • Participate in development and maintenance of quality assurance for the nursing service department.
  • Perform administrative duties including charting, reports, and summaries as required.
  • Provide leadership and conduct daily rounds to assess care quality and staff performance.
  • Greet and supervise residents, admit/transfer/discharge residents as needed, and coordinate with physicians for treatment plans.
