Job summary

Pikes Peak Post Acute in Oregon is seeking an LPN/LVN Nurse Supervisor to provide direct nursing care to residents and to supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards while maintaining the highest quality of care.

You will lead nursing staff, coordinate care plans, and participate in quality assurance and safety programs. Strong leadership, clinical knowledge, and the ability to make timely decisions are essential

Qualifications

  • Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
  • Must possess an active nursing license to practice in this state.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently; communicate with managers and employees.
  • Must maintain leadership and supervisory abilities and foster teamwork.
  • CPR certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day nursing activities of the nursing assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Oversee charting, medication administration, and documentation accuracy.
  • Participate in facility quality assurance and safety programs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate resident care and discharge planning.
