Job summary

McLaren Health Care seeks a Supervisor of Patient Care Services (LPN) to lead designated units and support the Nursing Services team in delivering safe, high-quality care. This part-time role involves mentoring staff, ensuring policy compliance, and driving positive patient outcomes within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, making rounds, contributing to policy development, and assisting with data collection for staff performance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the State of Michigan
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Progressive leadership charge/supervisor experience
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs nursing staff including enforcement of hospital policies and performance appraisals.
• Demonstrates professional practice in patient care delivery.
• Communicates with residents, visitors, co-workers, physicians, and other health care members.
• Collaborates with Nursing teams, makes rounds to units and provides guidance.
• Assists in policy development and revision for patient care; uses resources effectively.
