• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and regulations pertaining to nursing care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day‑to‑day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Review and revise policies, procedures, and job descriptions as needed.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of the facility's quality assurance program.
• Maintain the Daily Census Report and submit to the Business Office.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Perform administrative duties and report to the Administrator as required.
