Job summary

PACS is seeking a licensed LPN/LVN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with regulations and the highest quality of care within the facility.

The role includes directing daily nursing functions, charting, medication administration, staff development, safety, and collaboration with physicians to maintain excellent resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary and maintain required records.
• Develop and maintain an atmosphere of warmth and positive emphasis, ensuring quality care.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel assigned to your unit/shift and participate in staffing decisions.
