Wachter is seeking a Low Voltage Lead Project Technician in Birmingham, AL for long and short-term projects. You will lead crews, install CCTV/Axis systems, and run low voltage cabling in commercial spaces while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Low Voltage Cable Technician with CAT5e, fiber optic, and network experience.
• Experience with CCTV, security systems, and alarm systems is a plus.
• Industry certifications such as BICSI, Siemon, Panduit, Belden, Corning are a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours including nights.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage cabling infrastructure.
• Install IP cameras, specifically Axis models.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings and drill concrete walls.
• Organize cables neatly according to safety regulations.
