Job summary

Wachter is seeking an experienced Commercial Security & Low Voltage Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced CCTV and networking systems in commercial environments. You will run low-voltage cabling, bend conduit, read blueprints, and configure network equipment while coordinating with Project Managers to ensure high-quality installations.

The role requires travel, with company-provided vehicle in many cases after initial period, and opportunities for certification and career

Qualifications

• Current, valid state security/license is a plus
• Valid driver's license with clean record (no DUI/DWI in last 3 years)
• Experience with cabling infrastructure, blueprints, and site maps
• Certification to operate boom or scissor lift preferred
• Own basic tools and PPE; reliable transit for training period
• Willingness for project travel

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial CCTV systems.
• Run low-voltage Cat 6 cabling through commercial buildings.
• Install conduit and drill walls for cable pathways.
• Complete wiring, set up MDFs, and troubleshoot switches.
• Conduct tests and ensure installations meet contracts and codes.
• Assist Leads and PMs with schedules and equipment deliveries.
