Job summary

Wachter is seeking an experienced Commercial Security & Low Voltage Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain advanced CCTV and networking systems in commercial environments. You will run low-voltage cabling, bend conduit, read blueprints, and configure network equipment, collaborating with Project Managers to ensure high-quality installations that meet codes.

Qualifications

• Current, valid state security license would be a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Deep knowledge of cabling infrastructure and blueprints.
• Certified (or willing to get certified) to operate a boom or scissor lift.
• Own basic telecom tools, PPE, and reliable transit for training.
• Flexible and fully available for project-related travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial CCTV systems.
• Run low-voltage Cat 6 cabling through commercial buildings.
• Install conduit and drill walls for cable pathways.
• Wire, setup MDFs, and troubleshoot network switches.
• Test operations and ensure contract and code compliance.
• Assist team leads and project managers with schedules and equipment delivery.
